About Us

Picture
Hi, I'm Donna Jurado, owner, baker and cake artist at Bake-Me-A-Cake, LLC. I  have always loved to bake, and art has always been fun for me, starting off in the form of sketching and crafting. My road to college took me in a different direction and I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Information Management.

For fun, I began creating cakes. I'm completely self-taught. My friends and family raved about my cakes and kept telling me that I had a gift to share. So, I obtained a license to conduct business in Pennsylvania and registered the business with the PA State Department of Agriculture (they're the health inspectors that inspect my home for sanitary and food safe practices). In 2009, Bake-Me-A-Cake, LLC was born with great encouragement from friends and family.

Although I am still quite passionate about cake designs, my career path has taken me back to health care. "Caking" is my hobby and I am no longer selling my cakes. I continue to design and create unique and fun cakes and strive to "outdo" myself with each creation...for fun!

Follow me on
Facebook and Pinterest, because even though I am not selling my cakes, I am still active in the kitchen and I'd love for you to see me and my art grow. As always, thank you for your support.
